Meet the Kids
Our kids are wonderful, hard-working, and desire to keep learning! Below, you will find 5 student, three of which have been in the program for the past one or two years. Three are just beginning the college process and cannot wait to start their school programs! There are many more students who will be graduating from secondary school in the upcoming years as well.
Peter
Peter is the oldest of eight, he is the first in his family to finish secondary school. Peter is a strong, determined, honest and dedicated young man. He cares deeply for his family and always works hard at school so that some day he will be able to help take care of his siblings. No matter what challenge is presented to Peter, you can always count on him to persevere and pray! His siblings and friends look up to him.
Peter is in his third year of college; he is studying Religious and Mathematics Education at Mulungushi University in Kabwe, Zambia. During his holidays, he volunteers at the school he graduated from.
Despite COVID-19, shutting down schools and universities, Peter is continuing his education online.
Edward
Edward is the younger brother to Peter and loves his family very much. He works hard to take care of his family by finding piece work to bring in small amounts of money. Edward is a talented soccer player and can always be counted on to fix things. If you ever need help, Eddie is always willing to help with a happy heart and a big smile!
Edward is studied Diesel Mechanics at Kabwe Institue of Technology in Kabwe, Zambia. He finished his first year and is looking to take his driving test soon!
Joseph
Joseph is one of the youngest of seven siblings. Joseph has wonderful role models in his life that have taught him how to work hard and desires to use his gifts to help the people around him. He is kind, funny, caring and loves playing soccer.
Joseph has just finished his first year of studying Diesel Mechanics at Kabwe Institute of Technology.

Dorothy
Dorothy is a sweet, honest and determined young woman. She was raised by her grandmother. She received very high marks on her grade 12 exam, one of the top in her class!
Dorothy is determined to study clinical medicine in college and wishes to attend the Chainama College of Health Science in Lusaka, Zambia's capitol. She wants to study medicine so she can help people live a healthy life.

Webster
Webster is a kind, hard-working young man. He is the oldest of 6 brothers! His mother died when he was in grade 10, though he continues to do the best he can in her memory. Webster helps take care of his brothers by working so he can pay for their school fees.
He received high marks on his grade 12 exam and began studying at Northrise University in Ndola in October 2020. Webster also hopes to learn how to drive!

These are the first students we are supporting! There are many more that will be graduating in the next few years and we are excited to help them achieve their dreams. We hope you will consider helping them along the way!
